• Trees, thicket, scrub and vegetation removal has in general ceased. However, where clearance is required, it will be inspected, in advance, by an ecologist. • The Gantry is currently to the east of St Ives with piling works progressing in front of the Gantry. The Gantry is due to reach St. Ives during June. • Work on the Orchard Park link continues, current works include; concrete works, drainage and statutory undertakers diversions, with completion in late summer. Access will always be provided. • Drainage work is continuing between Cambridge Regional College and Milton Road Junction, and between Oakington and Histon and should be completed by the end of July. • Milton Road Junction – The new parapets are complete, with road-works and footpath complete. The road markings are 90% done. The installation of permanent traffic signals has commenced. We have programmed the removal of Traffic Management for Friday 15 May. • Construction of the Maintenance Track is continuing between Histon and Milton Road, and should be complete by early July. • We are carrying out finishing works at all junctions, and continue to late summer. • We have commenced Bus Stop Construction. Starting at Oakington progressing to Science Park, Cambridge Regional College and Histon, and continue to late summer. |
